While driving the car it shut down. We lost all power to the car and had to push it off to the side of the road. We have tried new batteries and every time the car won't start. We get a message that says "service esc".May 19, 2022 · Correct, once the issues are fixed you can have all of the faults cleared. If the service ESC light comes back with the CEL again then you have an issue specific to the ESC system that would require a separate repair. Usually its an electrical issue that causes that however. .
